Gary Hemminghaus (Spring 2027)
Gary retired as the Head of Music at Williamsburg PS in Whitby. He served as co-Music Director of St. Michael’s Church in London as well as co-Director for the Durham District School Board’s Honour Band. An accomplished clarinetist and accordion player, he currently leads as Artistic Director for the Oshawa big band, Mood Swing.
Leighton Knier
Leighton served as chorister and soloist with the Ambassadors Christian Male Chorus, touring Ontario, Eastern Canada and the Netherlands. He also performs as a percussionist with various Praise Teams in the Brantford area.
Rob Lazure
Rob has sung for 20 years with the London Men of Accord barbershop chorus, and for 10 years with the barbershop octet, The Octones. He is currently cantoring at St. Justin’s in the London South group of parishes.
Louis VanderWier
Louis is an alumnus of the Redeemer University Concert Choir and sings with various Church Praise Teams. He sang with the Ambassadors Christian Male Chorus for almost thirty years, touring Ontario, Eastern Canada, and the Netherlands as chorister and soloist.
Abel Tanael (Fall 2026)
Abel served as a chorister with Sinag Chorale in Montreal, Quebec and sang as a soloist with St. Kevin’s Youth Choir in Montreal for many years until he moved to Hamilton. He is now a member of an ensemble at St. Catherine of Siena in Hamilton and also sings with the BWB Singers.
