Carol Hill
Carol has been singing in choirs and vocal ensembles in the Halton and Hamilton regions for more than three decades. In addition to singing with Colamici, she is a member of Hamilton’s BWB Singers (Broadway Without Boarders). Carol has been part of many groups, including the Harlequin Singers, Tempus Choral Society, Tempus Jazz, Masterworks of Oakville, the Bach Elgar Choir, and the Allegra Trio. As well, she was a long-time soloist and choir member with Oakville’s Walton Memorial United Church. At home in a variety of musical genres, Carol has competed and medaled in choral festivals in the United States and Canada, as a chorister and a soloist.
Pamela Kortmann
Pamela is the Music Teacher at Sir William Osler Public School and has served as the Teacher Lead for the HWDSB Choir Festival since 2010. An accomplished vocalist, she sang with the Harlequin Singers for 15 years, including as a Section Lead, and currently performs with the BWB Singers. Pam is passionate about inspiring young musicians and under her direction, the Sir William Osler Glee Club earned Best Junior Vocal Ensemble in Canada in Canada’s Music Class Challenge.
Shileen Paton
Shileen has been in the performing arts from a young age. Both singing and acting have always been a prominent part of her life. Taking to the stage in many musical productions including, The Secret Garden, Bully Proof, Annie, and various other performances, Shileen also took an interest in film acting, appearing in JFK: Reckless Youth, Degrassi, The Next Generation, Princess, Reign, and numerous others, as well as working on many indie films, voice work and commercials. Chorally, Shileen has sung with the Hamilton Children’s Choir, Vox Nouveau Singers, the a cappella group Azul, and the Harlequin Singers. She is very excited to be performing with Colamici.
Annie Savard
Annie has been singing in choirs since elementary school. She completed course work for a minor in Music at McMaster University while working on her Bachelor of Science degree. She has been involved with leading music at church services since she was 19 - as cantor, choir member, soloist, and worship leader. She sang with the McMaster Choir as a student and alumnus and has performed with Opera Hamilton, the women’s ensemble, Pleidades, and served as a soloist at weddings. In her career as Principal of a school for students with special needs, Annie has developed a comprehensive music programme that serves the diverse learning needs of the students. Annie is thrilled to be singing with Colamici!
