We are Colamici - with Friends

We are Colamici - and we are friends. Some of us have performed with each other for 35+ years…with a singular purpose…to share our music with appreciative audiences…to connect with them and to make our experience with them worthwhile, memorable, and rewarding for them.

  • Blow Blow Thou Winter Wind - John Rutter

Blow Blow Thou Winter Wind - John Rutter

William Shakespeare's text explores the feelings of a “false friendship'“ that can lead us to a feeling betrayed and bitter, like the freezing, unkind, and sharp bite of the winter's wind. John Rutter's musical treatment of Shakespeare's work brings it all to life. We've added pictures to further amplify the harshness.

It was a pleasure for us to perform this composition at Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish where we found only true friendship and kindness.

Prayer for the Future - Jeff Christmas

Jeff Christmas dedicated this composition to Laura in commemorating her time with the Amabile Youth Singers of London, as they celebrated their 35th anniversary. Laura holds the honour of being Amabile’s first accompanist as she served the choir under the direction of John Barron and Brenda Zadorsky.

This recording is the first live performance/world premiere and was performed in April of 2025 at Mountainview CRC in Grimsby.
