Have you ever had a friendship go sour? Did the "false friendship" leave you feeling bitter or betrayed? William Shakespeare's text from "As You Like It" explores those feelings, comparing them to the freezing, unkind, and sharp bite of the winter's wind. John Rutter's musical treatment of Shakespeare's work brings all of those feelings to life and we've added winter pictures to further amplify the harshness of it all. It was a pleasure for us to perform his composition at Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish where we found only true friendship and kindness.
